Chairmen of KAU Think Tanks Honoured

A special ceremony was held by the Think Tank Sector of the Business and Knowledge Alliance on Tuesday 18th January 2011 at the Faculty of Marine Sciences in Abhor in honour of the chairmen of King Abdulaziz University think tanks.

The event was graced with the presence of HE Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, and Prof Ahmed Nagadi, KAU Vice-President for Business and Creative Knowledge.

Dr Esam Azhar, CEO of the Business and Knowledge Alliance, said close coordination between the Think Tank Sector and the Business and Knowledge Alliance would improve the quality of research and consultations.

According to Dr Hamad Al-Turaif, Acting CEO of the Think Tank Sector, the number of think tanks in different specialties has hit 66.

He also gave an overview on the Sector's achievements.
